WATCH: African wild dogs prance around Skukuza Golf Club’s greens
Skukuza Golf Club's superintendent Jean Rossouw caught the magical moment of a playful pack of African wild dogs and their pups on the course on Sunday October 24.
A pack of playful African wild dog pups were spotted frolicking around the Skukuza Golf Club greens on Sunday October 24.
The Skukuza Golf Club posted video footage and photos of the pups prancing around the fourth course’s greens, much to the delight of the page’s followers.
The club superintendent, Jean Rossouw, said the dogs were this year’s pups and had recently started moving with the pack. He said the pups were with the adults and there had been around 30 wild dogs on the greens that morning.
“We are very lucky. We see it all, from elephants roaming the course to lions and even leopards,” he said.
On September 9 this year, the golf course posted a video of a lone leopard playing around the greens before darting off into the bushes out of sight of the video camera.”
