They also provide financial support to cover the medical aid’s shortfall as well as transportation or accommodation costs.

“The GPS challenge was unfortunately postponed three times, so the number of teams participating were fewer than expected, but despite that, the whole day was just so amazing and everyone really looked like they had fun,” she said.

The teams participating in the challenges, Wikus du Toit Attorneys, Minuteman Press, Oasis and the Swift Group went from businesses such as Rooikat to Kwanyoni Lodge to complete a number of tasks.

Wikus du Toit Attorneys came in second. Lehlogondo Mashile, Heike Marais and Carla Klaasen accept their prize from Moving Mountains’ founder, Izelle Pretorius.

Pretorius said the tasks included a debate on whether shaving or waxing is better at Wikus du Toit Attorneys, labelling and packing bottles of water at Oasis, eating a spicy hot chicken wing at Kwanyoni, replacing a washer at Swift Group, painting the nails of colleagues at Skin Creations, cutting out business cards at Minuteman Press, finding a property number on a map at Chas Everitt Lowveld, singing a song at Radio Laeveld and last but not least, building a man using steel pipes at BUCO Nelspruit.
