The blasting will be between 11:00 and 16:00. The road will remain open during the rock preparation, and be temporarily closed during the actual blasting. The blasting process is estimated to take no longer than one hour.

Thaba Chweu Local Municipality urged motorists to drive with caution and exercise patience, as delays are expected.

The road will be open outside of the blasting times mentioned, however. For further information, contact 079 146 6342, or the site manager on 076 765 8701.
