Commuters injured in taxi accident on R538 near White River

A taxi rolled several times in an accident on the R538 between Numbi and White River on October 16.

Emer-G-Med Paramedics responded to the incident.

“On arrival on the scene, it was established that the minibus taxi had rolled several times,” a statement by the emergency service read.

“Multiple commuters were treated and stabilised on scene for injuries ranging from minor to moderate, and were taken by ambulances to nearby hospitals for further medical care.”
