Lowvelder’s Got Talent 2022 competition a tremendous success

The finals were well supported by parents and locals, watching the kids showcasing their talents, and the crowd was entertained by a contestant of last year's edition, Lee-Ann Kholwane.

The Lowveld brought its best to the stage at the Lowvelder’s Got Talent 2022 finals on Sunday.
There was certainly tough competition with incredible talent in the various divisions of the contest. The vibe was amazing at the final event, with the audience members creating an electric atmosphere.

The organisers of the competition, Candice and Marc Paterson, said Lowvelder’s Got Talent is looking forward to working with its winners and participants throughout the next year, creating platforms of exposure in the local community as well as offering personal development opportunities to selected candidates.
“We have reached out to the private sector for coaches and mentors to get involved with upliftment of the participants,” said Marc.
The organisers are looking for vocal, instrumental, acting and dancing coaches to get involved, as well as sports coaches, academic and study method coaches.

The aim is to link participants in need with coaches, to take them to the next level of achievement.
Lowvelder undertakes to give exposure to these coaches for taking participants under their wings, as well as giving exposure for successes achieved.
The Patersons added that a highlight of the event were the callbacks from International Talent Showcase (ITS) in the United States of America. There were also students present from last year’s competition, sharing their success.
