Emergency shutdown scheduled on Delta/Anderson line
Due to cable theft, an emergency shutdown has been scheduled for these areas in Mbombela.
According to the City of Mbombela, an emergency shutdown has been scheduled for the Bakos Bridge on the Delta/Anderson supply line due to an attempted cable theft.
The shutdown is scheduled for Sunday, January 15 from 14:00 to 18:00.

Affected areas include the CBD, Rob Ferreira Hospital, Busamed, the civic centre and Ehmke Street sub areas.
The shutdown will not affect the entire Delta grid.
Steiltes, Nelsville, Valencia, Bergland and the top area of Elmadre will not be affected, said Cllr Sanley van der Merwe.
