St Peter’s School explodes with excitement for the new year
St Peter's School recently welcomed its new learners with a bell-ringing ceremony.

It was a day of happiness and delight at St Peter’s School with the commencement of the new school year.
The most important and exciting experience of the day for the new Grade Ones (and other newcomers), their parents and the teachers was the St Peter’s School’s traditional bell-ringing welcoming ceremony.
Every new learner and teacher had the opportunity to ring the bell to announce their presence as they joined St Peter’s family.

The acting principal, Belinda Dube, welcomed the Grade Ones and all the new children. She wished them all a great experience at the school.

According to Dube, the importance of the foundation stage cannot be taken lightly. She said with an established foundation, a student will reach his or her academic potential.

“We have small classes with qualified, caring and attentive teachers. We strive to give personal attention to our learners. We want to ensure a solid foundation in reading, writing and maths. Emotional support is also important to us and given to the learners to enable them to become the best students they can be,” she said.
