Man killed in accident outside Barberton
The fatal single vehicle accident is thought to have occurred between 05:00 and 06:00 on February 7.
A 52-year-old man was killed when the vehicle which he was driving crashed into a wall off the R40 about 15km out of Barberton early this morning, February 7.
According to ER24’s spokesperson, Russel Meiring, the car crashed into the perimeter wall of a farm. It is believed the accident occurred between 05:00 and 06:00.

Meiring said ER24 paramedics were alerted to the scene after two pedestrians had come across the crash site and called for help. Local authorities went out to the scene for further investigations.
He said the man was declared dead.
