Praktiseer family plead for community’s help

Their mother passed away in 2014 and they do not have access to water and electricity at their home.

A family of four orphans have appealed to the government to step in and assist them to acquire an RDP house.

The Selahle family in Praktiseer is one of the neediest families in the area. They have appealed for help from
the government and local business people in Tubatse and surrounds.

The one brother, Tumi (21), said they survive with the foster care grant of his three brothers aged 13, 11 and 8.

“Our one-room shack is leaking during the rainy season. We plead for donations of basic needs from Good Samaritans,” said Tumi.

Their mother passed away in 2014 and they do not have access to water and electricity at their home.

There is no proper road to access their shack. Tumi has an N5 qualification in marketing management
and is currently looking for a job to help him take care of his siblings.

He urged anyone willing to step in and help to restore their dignity, to contact him on 082 344 8190.
