Man dies in accident on Long Tom Pass

The life of a driver came to an abrupt end in an accident on March 16.
He was travelling in Mbombela’s direction from Lydenburg on the Long Tom Pass (R37) at 11:50.
According to traffic officials, the driver allegedly lost control of his Opel Corsa and rolled down an embankment.
The deceased was transported to the Lydenburg Hospital.
The Lydenburg Traffic Department and other emergency workers were on the scene.
