The Airlink Pumas will face the Toyota Cheetahs XV in the fourth round of the Currie Cup in Bloemfontein on Friday March 31.

The Cheetahs XV starting team shows 15 changes from the team that defeated the Vodacom Bulls last weekend. Of the 23 players selected against the Bulls, only Laurence Victor remains. He will start in the front row after coming off the bench last weekend in Welkom.

The reason for the new-look team is that the Toyota Cheetahs take on Toulon in a EPCR Challenge Cup round of 16 match at Stade Mayol, Toulon, France on Saturday April 1 at 13:30.

The Pumas team starting has two changes from the one that started against the Windhoek lager Griquas last Friday.

Chriswill September starts at scrum half and Giovan Snyman will move to the bench. Wian van Niekerk comes in for Ali Mgijima at inside centre.

The only other change on the bench is Juice Gumede who comes in for Simon Raw.

The Toyota Cheetahs XV top the Carling Currie Cup log with 15 points. The Pumas are second on 14 points.

Both teams are undefeated this season.

Should the Pumas win the crucial away game, they will move to first place on the log.

Kick-off is at 17:05.

The referee for the match is Cwengile Jadezweni. He will be assisted by Philip Kotze and DJ Hefer. The TMO is Egon Seconds.
