Learner admission applications for schools now open in Limpopo
The applications started on May 15.
As the academic year draws to a close, the Limpopo education department has opened admissions at schools for learners for the 2024 academic year. The applications started on May 15.
Parents were encouraged to apply for their children in a timely manner to avoid missing out on a placement at their desired school.
“Timely registration for learners is essential to avoid disappointment and lastminute stress. Parents are encouraged to research the schools in their area, consider their preferences and apply early to secure
a spot.
This ensures that learners are not left behind or miss out on the opportunity to attend their desired school,” said the departmental spokesperson, Mike Maringa.
The Limpopo MEC for education, Mavhungu Lerule Ramakhanya, said all Limpopo public schools have been
identified as designated areas for collection and submission of admission forms.
“Parents and legal guardians of qualifying learners are therefore encouraged to immediately collect registration forms from the school nearest to their home, where other siblings are attending or within a feeder zone.
“Completed forms must be returned as soon as possible, as admissions will be processed on a first come, first served basis, assuming that all other criteria in the admissions guidelines are met.”
The 2024 Limpopo admissions will close on July 31.
