Despite the cold weather, Lowvelders came out to support Round Table White River 64’s Warm Festival, a blanket drive to benefit the less fortunate in communities in and around Mbombela.

Some Lowvelders who know how to have fun attended the festival at Mustangs – The Dancing Place on Saturday June 17.

Entrance was free for everyone who brought a blanket along to donate.

Martin Bester, Danny Smoke and Brian Wilkinson kept the audience entertained with live performances.

JL Coetzee from Round Table White River 64 said they appreciated the support that community members showed for the initiative.
