Greener pastures for Nelspruit SPCA’s Rosie
The Nelspruit SPCA facilitates a lot of four legged adoptions, not many of them come with a “moo”, though.
If you have ever had a look at the Nelspruit SPCA’s Facebook page, you will be familiar with the happy faces of adopted kittens and pups.
It’s not often you see faces like Rosie’s, though.
At the end of June, the SPCA shared the news that their beloved Rosie had found a home. The best news of all, it was on a lovely farm surrounded by other farm animals.

“She became an orphan a few months ago after we had to emergency slaughter her severely diseased mother.

“We raised her by hand under close veterinary observation, and today she was ready to start her new life. We were sad to see her go, but happy knowing she will live a life free from harm and discomfort.
“Fortunately it is close to Nelspruit, and if we miss her too much, we can just pop by. Thank you, Mignon and family, for your love and compassion for her.”
