No more snowfall for Mpumalanga
The SAWS said there are no more predictions of snow for Mpumalanga as of Tuesday afternoon, July 11.
Lowvelders excited to see the snow may be disappointed to find out no more is expected to fall in the coming days, and the traces still left are expected to melt in the next few hours.
A SAWS forecaster, Samke Thwala, said no more snowfall is predicted to fall as of today, July 11.

On Monday, July 10, snow chasers flocked to the Long Tom Pass and Dullstroom to see the snow. By Monday evening, the snow cover on the Long Tom Pass was thick and slippery to navigate, resulting in the road being closed off. It was opened again this morning, however, motorists were advised by the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison’s spokesperson, Moeti Mmusi, to travel with caution.
