Crash between Emgwenya and Crossroads on N4 cleared

A crash involving two trucks and a vehicle between Emgwena and Crossroads saw the closure of the eastbound N4 lane heading towards Mbombela on Friday morning, July 28.

The lane has since been cleared and traffic is flowing freely.

According to the spokesperson for the Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Moeti Mmusi, there were no fatalities. TRAC’s Solange Soares said there was one slight injury, however.

It is as yet unclear how the accident occurred. The authorities were present at the scene to investigate.
