Beauty queen crowned at Burgersfort school

Ntepane is known for organising beauty pageants on a yearly basis.

Ga-Riba’s Ntepane Primary School, outside Burgersfort, has crowned its queen. The school organised its beauty pageants on September 21, at the school hall.

This year’s title went to Immaculate Masete, the first princess was Salisa Riba, while Hlompho Mokoo was the second princess .

The winners were handed gifts and vouchers for their efforts.

The school management team said this was one of their biggest events and the finalists had put in months and months of hard work into making it a success.

“I’m blessed to have been part of this year’s pageants and even more to have been crowned a winner. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my teachers, friends and family who cheered me on,” Immaculate said.

“It is so pleasing to host an event of this kind. What we realised is that beauty shows are still popular among our learners. We would like to thank the parents who supported the pupils as well as the teachers who planned the event,” said educator Douglas Magabane
