A woman was recently robbed by two gunmen while cycling along the Kaapsehoop Road.
A woman was robbed of her cellphone by two gunmen while she was cycling along the Kaapsehoop Road near the turn-off to the old Nelspruit Airfield on Friday morning, October 27.
Securicon Lowveld’s Callum mac Pherson said he had been on the scene of the robbery and that it had occurred at about 05:45.

He said the victim claimed that after she was robbed, the gunmen casually walked away. Mac Pherson said he had tried to trace the cellphone once he was on the scene, but was unable to do so as it had been switched off.
He said although the road was a popular route for people to exercise on, he urged them not to exercise alone and to have a tracking app on their phone. A media query was sent to the Nelspruit Police about the incident. Lowvelder will add the police’s response as soon as it is received.
