Another exciting edition of an outdoor market in Mbombela

The Market at Friends Café was well attended by locals and their pets, despite the hot weather.

To combat the hot weather over the weekend, the Market at Friends Café on Sunday February 25 offered refreshing and delectable foods and drinks, and had unique arts and crafts on display.

This has become a staple market, well-supported every month. It boasts traders not only from Mbombela, but from all over Mpumalanga.

The market’s organiser, Peta de Wet, said the traders managed to sell most of their goods and interact with interested buyers despite the hot weather. “It was a successful day, although we had to pack up and close shop an hour earlier because of the heat. The market is growing each time we host it, and we appreciate all the traders and the locals who always support local brands,” she said.
