A delightful fusion of orchids and treats at Afri Orchids’ Open Day in Mbombela

Friends and family admired the beauty of orchids and indulged in some delicious treats, while the children played to their heart's delight on the property.

The Afri Orchids’ Open Day was held on Saturday and Sunday March 2 and 3. The event was attended and enjoyed by family and friends alike.

Afri Orchids, a specialist orchid nursery, focuses mainly on orchid species from around the world.The beauty of the variety of orchids on display was appreciated and discussed by all the attendees. After strolling through the gardens and purchasing plants, visitors indulged in delicious cakes, savoury treats, coffee, teas and cooldrinks.

The young ones played in the treehouse and explored various footpaths on the property.

Lourens Grobler, owner of Afri Orchids, mentioned that the attendance numbers exceeded their expectations, and included both regular and new visitors.
The next open day is scheduled for May 11 and 12.
