Wide spread of log leaders in Ehlanzeni Senior Hockey League

Each of the four divisions of the Ehlanzeni Senior Hockey League is being led by a different club and team, after four rounds of matches played in the 2024 season.

There is a great spread of clubs and teams at the top of the respective logs in the four divisions of the Ehlanzeni Senior Hockey League, following the completion of the fourth round of fixtures on April 21.

The league has been going full swing since mid-March. The most recent was played at Penryn on Sunday April 21, with Impala the hosts for the day.
All four divisions were in action once more on the day, and kicked off with a match in the Men’s Second League between Lowveld Country Club (LVCC) 2 and White River Macs, which the former won 2-0.

There were two further matches in the Men’s Second League, too. KaNyamazane played twice, winning their first match against Impala 2 by a 4-3 scoreline. They then drew their second game 4-4 against White River 2.

In the Ladies Second League, Impala 2 and White River 2 faced off, and the hosts of the day emerged 2-0 victors. The second game of the day was between White River 2 and LVCC 2. The White River team won 4-3.

The only Men’s First League match of the day was between White River and Impala, and the men from White River won 5-1. The same teams faced off in the only Ladies First League match of the day, where Impala got revenge by winning 3-1.

In the Men’s Second League, KaNyamazane is leading the way at the top of the log, followed by LVCC 2 in second and Impala 2 in third. In the Ladies Second League, Impala 2 is at the top, ahead of White River 2 (second) and LVCC 2 (third).
Then in the Men’s First League, White River is top of the pops, with LVCC in second place and Impala taking third spot. LVCC leads the Ladies First League, Impala being second and White River third.

The next round of matches will take place at Penryn on Sunday April 28, with LVCC as the hosts for the day.
