IN PHOTOS: Mbombela locals treated to Indian cuisines at food festival

The Indian Food Festival attracted families and friends for a night out. They enjoyed dinner and experiencing various Indian specialities.

The Mbombela locals sure did not miss a chance to indulge in the spicy, sweet, saucy and finger-licking tastes of the Indian Food Festival at Church Unlimited Nelspruit on Friday April 19.

A delicious selection of food was on sale. Dishes included chicken curry, biryanis, hot beverages, samoosas, cakes and desserts, and many more prepared by locals. This evening gave attendees a great excuse to skip dinner at home and enjoy the various foods at inexpensive prices.

The food festival, organised by the church, aimed to celebrate the Indian culture in the Lowveld.
