IN PHOTOS: Appel wows audience with Blue Moon performance

Lowvelders recently flocked to Blue Moon to watch the well-known Afrikaans singer Appel perform.

Popular Afrikaans musician Appel wowed the crowd at Blue Moon with a spectacular performance on Saturday evening, April 27.

Lowvelders flocked to the venue to watch Appel sing. Local artist Brian Wilkinson warmed the crowd up as he opened for Appel with several songs, and then it was time for Appel to take the stage. Even before the singer had stepped out, the crowd had flooded out on the floor, crowding in to get close to the stage, screaming and cheering for Appel.

Once he started singing, the audience was singing along with him, and everyone in attendance seemed to have a wonderful evening.
