Hi-Tech Security's new app is everything you need to keep yourself, your loved ones and your home safe. Using the latest technology available to ensure a proactive approach to your safety, this app allows you to manage all your security necessities in one place.

A fully integrated, comprehensive app to meet all of your security needs has made landfall in Mbombela – Hi-Tech Security’s new app, with everything you need to keep yourself, your family and your home safe, from wherever you are, with just the tap of a button.
This unique app has been under development for the past two years, using the latest technology available to ensure a proactive approach to your safety with just one user-friendly app that provides a host of security features all found in one place.
From armed response, guarding, monitoring of your CCTV and alarm system, tracking of your family and their safety, a panic button, medical assistance as well as roadside assistance and a list of emergency contacts, Hi-Tech Security’s new app allows the user to manage all their security necessities in one place, without the need of multiple apps to operate.

The full integration of this app is one of the things that makes it truly unique, and, importantly, easy to use whenever you need it most.
Hi-Tech Security’s managing director, Frank Swanepoel, said the app is a proactive approach to an industry that is mostly reactive when it comes to fighting crime and taking steps to prevent it.

Swanepoel said the panic button will work from wherever you are, ensuring Hi-Tech is there for you and your family in times of emergency. Whether you suspect an intruder is in your home or on your property, or you feel you are in danger of being hijacked while out on the road, one press of the button sends an urgent alert to Hi-Tech who will then either call you within seconds of the panic being activated, or dispatch a vehicle to your location, depending on your preselected preferences.

The app works with your cellphone’s GPS location, allowing Hi-Tech to track you in your time of need and immediately send out help. It also allows you to trace the locations of loved ones, so if you suspect they are in any danger, security can be sent to their location too.
And if you leave Mbombela, Hi-Tech’s app works with a host of security providers outside the city to ensure that you have help when you need it, even when you are out of range of Hi-Tech’s jurisdiction.

Hi-Tech Security’s managing director, Frank Swanepoel, demonstrates its new app.

The app also allows you to check your CCTV cameras at home and monitor your alarm system, enabling you to arm or disarm remotely, whether you are at your office, a few kilometres from home or overseas on holiday, several thousand kilometres from Mbombela.
Swanepoel said the app also allows its users to liaise with Hi-Tech staff directly and allows for distribution of important notices, possible risk areas, updates on crime trends and hotspots as well as Hi-Tech events and exciting promotions.

It also has an option to report technical issues, which then allows Hi-Tech to make an appointment to come out and make any needed repairs. In addition to all this, it also enables you to log your personal information and your vehicle information, so should your vehicle get stolen, an alert can get sent out immediately with all your vehicle’s details so the search can begin.

This unique app is currently available for download on Google Play Store and is available to Hi-Tech Security clients as well as those who are not clients, for just R80 a month.
