The 16-year-old Makisha who was reported missing earlier today, September 16, was found safe and sound.

A provincial police spokesperson, Captain Magonseni Nkosi, has confirmed that the missing girl has been found, however, he did not give any more information on where she was found or what had led her to disappear in the first place.

Some community members launched a search for her after her mother had alerted everyone and reported the matter to the police.
“All I can say for now is that the police are conducting the necessary procedures in getting all the facts. The community policing forum, security companies and police officials would like to thank everyone who was involved in the search,” Nkosi said.
