There was a celebratory event for the opening of this new campus, as The Independent Institute of Education continues to expand in Mpumalanga.

The IIE Rosebank College Mbombela Campus’s official opening was held on Friday, October 4. The Independent Institute of Education (IIE) has expanded its educational footprint in Mpumalanga.

During the opening, Sibongile Ilunga, the Mbombela campus head, spoke about the impactful community engagement and wellness initiatives to thriving sports achievements and successful collaborations with local businesses.

Among the guests were the managing director, Dr Linda Meyer, the chief operations officer, Moloko Chepape, The Independent Institute of Education’s registrar, Shirly Ferndale, and the Mpumalanga MEC for education, Cathy Dlamini.

“Today we are not just celebrating the establishment of a new institution, we are fostering hope, ambition and a commitment to a brighter future for all our young people. As we embrace Rosebank College, we recognise the vital role that higher education plays in shaping the future of our nation,” said Dlamini.
