Mpumalanga police retrieve three bodies in separate incidents

Two bodies were found next to the R37 outside Mbombela, while one was found in some bushes in Mmametlhake.

The Mpumalanga police have recently recovered the bodies of three unknown people in two separate incidents.

According to a provincial police spokesperson, Colonel Donald Mdhluli, two of the bodies were found next to the R37 outside Mbombela towards Sabie and Mashishing at about 05:45 today, October 31, in a decomposing state. The other discovery was of a semi-decomposed body dumped in some bushes next to a high school in Nokaneng in Mmametlhake on Sunday, October 27. The body had multiple injuries and was partially burnt.

Anyone who might have a family member who went missing in Mmametlhake wearing similar clothing to the pieces of clothing in the picture provided is urged to contact the police immediately.

“An investigation into these two discoveries has already begun, with the hopes of arresting the perpetrators and locating the victims’ families.
