One dead in accident outside Hectorspruit
The accident occurred in the early hours of the morning.
A vehicle collided with a truck on the N4 between Malalane and Hectorspruit, leaving one person dead.
According to reports, the accident occurred shortly after 03:00 on December 21, outside Hectorspruit on the N4 between the Jeppe’s Reef Road and Impala Station.

It is believed the vehicle was travelling towards Malalane when it collided with a truck heading in the opposite direction.
The person who died in the vehicle was trapped for a number of hours before before the body was recovered.

The scene was cleared and the road fully reopened shortly after 08:00.
