Mediclinic Nelspruit welcomes two Christmas babies

This year’s number of Christmas babies is smaller than the five that were born on Christmas Day in 2023.

Mediclinic Nelspruit welcomed two babies on Christmas Day this year, the first being little Zayn Mashonga in
the early afternoon.

Zayn was born to mum Grace at 14:03. He weighed 2.85kg and was 49cm tall when he was born. Grace was delighted with the birth of her third child, having previously brought two little girls into the world.

Grace was handed a special congratulatory gift by Mediclinic Nelspruit unit manager Yvonne Chuma later the
afternoon. The second and final baby of the day was born in the early evening.
