Two men killed in Tekwane South

The police are investigating the murders and no arrests have been made yet.

Two men, aged 45 and 51, were fatally shot in Tekwane South at noon today, May 1.

Both men were pronounced dead by medical personnel on the scene.

According to a Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Brigadier Donald Mdhluli, a white Toyota Yaris was found idle in close proximity to the bodies when the SAPS responded to the incident.

Mdhluli said the preliminary investigation has established that the vehicle belonged to one of the deceased. He said the motive behind the shooting remains unknown at this time and no arrests have been made yet.

The police are investigating two counts of murder.
