Another win at Longtom SUPERSPAR
This has been the second year running that this SPAR has delivered a winner in the Win a Car competition.
For the second consecutive year, SUPERSPAR Longtom has delivered a winner during the national supermarket’s Win a Car competition.
Only 50 Fiery Red Hyundai Grand i10 Auto Sedans are up for grabs during this year’s competition, and Reverend Mbowane was lucky enough to walk away with one of these brand-new sleek sedans.
Mbowane simply bought a participating product, swiped his Rewards Card – and voilà! A set of brand-spanking-new wheels were handed to him on May 30 by management and Hyundai representatives during a special event to celebrate his win.
This competition has been running as a promotion in South Africa for decades, with SPAR South Africa establishing the programme in 1963. To date, the supermarket group has given away more than 1 145 cars. In 2023, they gave away 60 cars to mark their 60th birthday, with an additional one added for charity.
Mbowane said that he’s been blessed beyond measure to have won this exciting Grand i10.
