IN PHOTOS: Wave of green and gold welcomes Springboks back to the Lowveld

Hundreds of Lowvelders visited KMI Airport to greet the Boks with tons of gees.

Lowvelders descended on KMI Airport on Sunday as the Springboks arrived back in the Lowveld ahead of next week’s test against Georgia.

The Springboks arrived at KMIA from Johannesburg, having flown from Gqeberha.

This follows their commanding 45-0 triumph over Italy in the second test of the Castle Lager Incoming Series on Saturday.

They landed at 12:20, and will spend the week in Mbombela, preparing for the upcoming test against Georgia on July 19. Kick-off against Georgia will be at 17:10 at Mbombela Stadium next Saturday.
