UPDATE: Stop-and-go in place at N4 Crocodile Gorge accident scene

A stop-and-go is in place between KaNyamazane and Matsulu.

Van Wettens is in the process of clearing wreckage following a multi-vehicle collision on the N4 earlier today (August 27).

A stop-and-go system has been implemented to manage traffic between KaNyamazane and Matsulu.

Martin Jeffrey of Emer-G-Med confirmed that 18 patients were treated at the scene before being transported to various hospitals in the area by Emer-G-Med and other EMS services.

Two passengers trapped in a light delivery vehicle were extricated by the Mbombela Fire Department using the Jaws of Life.

A 10-year-old girl with severe injuries was stabilised on scene and flown by Aeromed 4 to Kiaat Private Hospital.
