Ndlovu Youth Choir spreads the spirit of Heritage at Lowveld schools

The Ndlovu Youth Choir sang and danced to some of South Africa's greatest hits at schools in the Lowveld.

The award-winning Ndlovu Youth Choir arrived in the Lowveld on Monday, August 25, giving learners a sneak peek of their upcoming Heritage
2025 tour.

The choir visited Hoërskool Nelspruit, Hoërskool Bergvlam, Lowveld High and Penryn, where their energy and dance moves had learners on their feet, singing along to some of South Africa’s greatest hits like “Nkalakatha,” “Patla Patla,” and “Shosholoza,” as well as amapiano favourites. Their new tour features a variety of songs that pay tribute to South Africa’s rich heritage and diverse music genres.

Their concert at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden on September 7 will also raise funds for the SANParks Honorary Rangers, volunteers who support conservation in the Kruger National Park. Proceeds will go towards essential equipment for their work.

The choir first gained recognition when they competed in the world-famous show, America’s Got Talent in 2019.
