Buscor has requested help with information on the bus spotted on the R40 near eBundu.

A suspicious video that started circulating on social media yesterday, October 30, of a Buscor bus in a precarious situation on the R40 near eBundu Lodge between White River and Mbombela, just got stranger.

Buscor shared a public announcement today, confirming that the bus is not registered on their systems.

“We are aware of the circulating video showing a bus driving recklessly on the wrong side of the road. We have been working tirelessly to trace the bus through our monitoring systems; however, we have not been able to match it to any bus in our service.”

The company has appealed to the public for any information regarding the bus and its registration.

“If anyone was able to get a closer look at the bus or note the bus number, we kindly request that you contact us via DM or call 013 754 6245. Your assistance will greatly help us with our investigation and in addressing this matter promptly and appropriately.”

Facebook users have been questioning the authenticity of the footage and speculating if the road is cursed after a white Ford Ranger overturned on the same road a few days ago.
