Authorities later said the driver may have been unconscious, with the passenger attempting to take control.

In the latest clip, the Buscor bus is seen at nearly the exact location, travelling into oncoming traffic. However, some Facebook users have questioned the authenticity of the footage, and Buscor has not confirmed the incident.

The company has stated that a formal response will be issued soon.

Attempts to contact the individual who posted the video have so far been unsuccessful.
