Music and culture marks 10 years of Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience
The theme for this year's Soul Session Xperience was ‘Sunrise to Sunset’, a tribute to the festival's 10-year journey.
The Carnival Xperience brought bright colours and talent to Mbombela’s streets on Friday, November 28.
Various artists, cultural groups and organisations paraded from outside The Square Nelspruit to the Promenade Shopping Centre.
This formed part of the much-anticipated annual Mpumalanga Cultural Xperience, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
The festival is hosted by the Department of Culture, Sport and Recreation. After the carnival, the Choral Xperience took place at the Siphumelele Teachers’ Centre in Elukwatini, along with the 013 SummerBlaze at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday, November 29.
