The spirit of community and dedication shines brightly at Laerskool Bergland, which has once again been celebrated as the winner of the My SPAR School Bucks Campaign, this time for November!

This marks its second win of the year, providing the perfect high note to end the school year and continue the school improvement project. Bergland has been on an exciting journey to revamp its beloved jungle gym area, creating a safer, more vibrant, and engaging space for the learners.

“The winnings from the My SPAR School Bucks Campaign are being put to excellent use. With a splash of colour, the school is hard at work, giving the equipment a much-needed facelift with fresh paint, ensuring a cheerful and inviting atmosphere for playtime. To complete the transformation and enhance safety, the area is being fitted with artificial grass.

“This means less mud, more playtime, and a beautiful, soft-landing surface, no matter the weather,” says Jana Venter, the marketer and co-ordinator at Laerskool Bergland.
