SPAR Lowveld spreads festive cheer at the Botanical Garden

The merry event was in aid of Child Welfare Nelspruit and Children in Distress.

SPAR’s Christmas in the Garden celebration on Friday evening at the Lowveld National Botanical Garden was the perfect start to the festive season.

Lowvelders gathered under twinkling lights for a good cause, enjoying world-class music from Stix Dumisa, Jamali, Graeme Watkins, Rubber Duc, Majozi and Laerskool Laeveld’s choir.

The event was in aid of Child Welfare Nelspruit and Children in Distress, to raise funds that will support their crucial work in the Lowveld community.

The crowd joyfully danced and sang along to beloved Christmas classics, from “All I Want for Christmas” and “O Holy Night” to “Jingle Bells” and many more.

The families were also entertained with fun games in which selected audience members had to battle it out on stage and challenge themselves by singing “Twelve Days of Christmas”.
