Three pedestrians killed between eNtokozweni and Belfast

Police are investigating three counts of culpable homicide after three pedestrians were struck by a sedan on the N4.

MEC for community safety Jackie Mackie has urged vigilance after a crash on the N4 between eNtokozweni and Belfast claimed three pedestrians’ lives, including two children.

Three people – a woman and two minors, believed to be her children – were killed on impact when they were struck by a sedan on the N4 between eNtokozweni and Belfast on Friday, April 3.
The road has since been cleared and traffic is flowing normally.


Police have launched an investigation into the crash and are probing three counts of culpable homicide.
The Mpumalanga MEC for community safety, security and liaison, Jackie Macie, has urged motorists and pedestrians to remain vigilant when using the road.
