5th Afri Orchids Garden International Festival draws plant lovers
International nurseries showcase rare species alongside interactive terrarium workshops in a weekend event.
The fifth annual Afri Orchids Garden International Festival proved to be an overwhelming success, drawing thousands of plant enthusiasts and collectors to a weekend dedicated to botanical wonders.
From August 28-30, attendees had a rare opportunity to step inside the greenhouses, marvelling at an incredible variety of unique blooms and taking home hundreds of exceptional plants.
Renowned international growers, including Tokyo Orchid Nursery and Orquivalle, showcased exceptional species and hybrids, offering visitors access to some of the rarest orchids on the global market.

A stellar lineup of local nurseries brought diverse botanical treasures, featuring In2 Plants Tillandsias, Clivia Kingdom, Klugro, the Whyte Thorne collection, Bizarre Tropicals and Cactus 4 Africa. Afri Orchids packed an entire greenhouse full of specimens available for purchase.

Acquature Living Art wowed the crowd with its exquisite living art displays and led insightful live demonstrations on the secrets to successfully growing plants in enclosed terrarium environments.
Guests also enjoyed a lively atmosphere in the garden featuring a pop-up bar hosted by Gin & Co and delicious treats from the Afri Orchid kitchen restaurant.
