Police recover suspected stolen Isuzu D-Max in Nkomazi
Officers from several units intercepted an abandoned Isuzu D-Max following a tracking operation in Nkomazi.
Police officers from the Provincial Anti-Hijacking Task Team in Ehlanzeni, Tonga visible policing, and crime intelligence have recovered a suspected stolen vehicle during a tracking operation in Nkomazi on Thursday, September 10.

“It was during this time when the astute members received information regarding a suspicious white Isuzu D-Max, bearing Eastern Cape registration plates, which was reportedly being driven through the mountainous area towards the border line,” said police spokesperson Captain Mpho Nonyane-Mpe.
Officers acted on the information and proceeded to the area, where they found the vehicle abandoned.
Vehicle linked to ongoing investigation
The vehicle was the subject of a police investigation into an incident in Gauteng earlier this month. It was seized for further investigation.
The circumstances surrounding the vehicle form part of the ongoing investigation.
