Mbombela Charity Golf Day will drive a fair way back into the past
Local welfare organisations will benefit as two companies celebrate milestone anniversaries at Mbombela Golf Club.
Golfers will step back in time at Mbombela Golf Club on October 23 for a vintage-themed charity event. Participants will play with wooden clubs, leather golf bags and flat caps during the annual Du Toit-Smuts & Partners Attorneys and Lowvelder Charity Golf Day.

Local charities benefit from annual event
With Nedbank as the main sponsor, the day will also include fun entertainment from Voodoo Kudu. The funds raised will benefit Laeveldrus, the Dasha Foundation and Huis Betlehem Nelspruit – three local organisations providing essential services in disability support, child welfare and shelter care.

Back: Gia Radnai, Buks Esterhuizen, Stefan de Villiers and Johan Oosthuizen.
Sponsor tees and donate prizes
Players will participate in a scramble drive with many prizes up for grabs. There are still two tees available for businesses to sponsor for R2 000, which excludes a four-ball as all four-balls are fully booked. There is also a need for more prizes. Any business or organisation wanting to sponsor prizes can contact Lizelle Douglass on 083 448 9415.
