TMM MECHANICAL FOREMAN Cheetah Chrome South Africa, is located in the Burgersfort area, situated on the Eastern Belt of the Bushveld Igneous complex in Limpopo Province. Farm Mooihoek 255 KT, Driekop, Burgersfort. TMM Mechanical Foreman – Cheetah Chrome South Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for a TMM Mechanical Foreman who will be responsible for leading and overseeing mechanical maintenance, repairs, and breakdown activities on Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations in accordance with mine plans, statutory requirements, and company policies. ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
•Grade 12.
•Diesel Trade Certificate.
•Minimum of 5 years` experience in a mechanical supervisory role in mining, with significant TMM experience (drill rigs, LHD`s, UV`s).
•Sound knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), risk management, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
•Computer literacy, including MS Office and reporting systems.
•Willingness to work shifts and extended hours when required. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Supervise and coordinate mechanical maintenance and repairs on all TMM equipment.
•Ensure that all mechanical maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and according to planned maintenance schedules.
•Monitor equipment performance and ensure that breakdowns are attended to promptly.
•Lead and manage mechanical maintenance teams and ensure effective allocation of resources.
•Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA), company standards, policies, and procedures.
•Conduct inspections and identify potential mechanical hazards and equipment defects.
•Ensure that maintenance records, reports, and documentation are accurately completed.
•Promote a strong safety culture and ensure that all employees work according to approved safety procedures.
•Liaise with engineering, mining, and other relevant departments to ensure effective TMM operations.
