NOTIFICATION OF LAND DEVELOPMENT APPLICATION IN TERMS OF THE THABA CHWEU BY-LAW ON SPATIAL PLANNING AND LAND USE MANAGEMENT, 2016
We, Eliakim Development Projects, represented by Ms. Heila Meintjes, on behalf of the registered owner of Portion 39 (Portion of Portion 18) of the farm Tevrede 178 JT, located on the R 536, between Sabie and Hazyview, approximately 2,6 km west of Induna Adventures, has lodged an application in terms of Section 80 of the Thaba Chweu By-Law on Spatial Planning and Land Use Management, 2016 file number SC/245 for Special Consent.
The application will ensure that the property can used for agricultural purposes as well as the development of 5 self-catering units and a restaurant.

Written comments or objections, together with reasons therefore in respect of the application, must be submitted, in the prescribed format to: The Municipal Manager, P O Box 61, Lydenburg, 1120 or delivered to the Town Planner, 1 st Floor, Civic Centre, 3 Sentral Street, Lydenburg; or faxed to 013-235-2096; or emailed to: Peggy.Mphethi@TCLM.GOV.ZA no later than 5 October 2026.
The format for the comments or objections is available from the office of the Town Planner at the above-mentioned address.
Any person who cannot read or write may consult any staff member of the office of the Town Planning Division during office hours and assistance will be given to transcribe that person`s objections or comments.
