Lockdown day 11: Motivational message of the day

Bishop Dr. Amos Dele Gbenro of  the movement God Bless Africa shares today’s encouraging message with South Africans during the Covid-19 lockdown. #LockdownSouthAfrica #LockdownFor21Days

Take your rightful place as a child of God

In this season, knowing who you are in God is the best comfort and you should make use of it. This shows that you are confident in the promises of God.

The world is currently in a state of confusion and everyone is seeking solutions.

We can easily find ourselves in a position where we blame our leaders for making poor decisions, or even start questioning why would God allow this to happen.

However, this is a time for those who know their God to be strong. (Daniel 11:32).

Understand that plagues are one of the signs of the end times, but not the end itself. Therefore, we should behave and act like children of God, washed and bought with blood, exempted from the plague of coronavirus or any other disease, because we bear the mark of exemption.

“From now on, don’t let anyone trouble me with these things. For I bear on my body the scars that show I belong to Jesus.” Galatians 6:17 (NLT)

It is time for children of God to take our rightful position. It is the time for us to humble ourselves and intercede in prayer for the church, people, nations and our leaders.

Scripture: Psalm 91(NIV)

Prayer: May God bless and keep you and your loved ones. You are free from any plague in the name of Jesus, amen.

During the lockdown, endeavour to re-think, re-plan and re-focus.
