Charities to benefit soon from golf day

As the fate of underprivileged children is a massive concern, a corporate golf day in an attempt to improve their circumstances was decided on.
The charities which will benefit are:
• House Bethlehem
• Light House
• Dasha School
• Nelspruit Community Forum.
As part of the fund-raising efforts, we invite the public to contribute towards this worthy cause. Each hole is available to sponsors, who will be entitled to display promotional material, distribute marketing products, introduce their firm to players and guests, as well as show commitment to the community.
You are therefore invited to be part of the Du Toit-Smuts & Mathews
Phosa/Lowvelder Charity Golf day which will take place on Friday
October 4, from 11:00 at Matumi Golf Course Nelspruit.
The competition will be held in a better ball format. Bookings for a four-ball should be made directly at Du Toit-Smuts & Mathews Phosa. Kindly contact Lorinda Vosges or Johan Oosthuizen to confirm your entry and tee-off times.
You are hereby kindly requested to make a minimum contribution in this regard by means of the following possible sponsorships:
• Tees of holes one and 10 – R3 500
(includes four-ball fees, halfway house refreshments, dinner and a gift)
• Putting greens of holes nine and 18 – R3 500 (includes four-ball fees, halfway house refreshments, dinner and a gift)
• All other tees – R2 500 (includes four-ball fees, halfway house refreshments, dinner and a gift)
• Practice putting green – R3 500 (includes four-ball fees, halfway house refreshments, dinner and a gift)
• Halfway house – R3 500 (includes four-ball fees, halfway house refreshments, dinner and a gift)
• Dinner function (prize-giving) – R7 000 (includes four-ball fees, halfway house refreshments, dinner and a gift)
• Ex gratia donation

• Should you only want to enter a four-ball, without sponsoring any hole, the fee will be R2 000, which will include halfway house refreshments, dinner and good company. (Please note: caddie fees and golf carts will be for your own account).
Sponsorships for prizes are also invited. Two identical prizes are required for at least the first five places as well as prizes for nearest to the pin (two) and longest drive (two).
