Masters beat Dilokong in a pulsating encounter

Tubatse Masters continued in their quest to compete with soccer giants in and around the platinum town when they locked horns with Dilokong ASA metal mine on January 27.

The star-studded Masters defeated the Dilokong Miners 5-3 in
a thrilling encounter at the Garagopola sports ground.

The game was watched by hundreds of soccer lovers who braved the rainy weather.They continuously cheered for every move performed by the players.

Masters showed their intention early in the game using their flanks to attack Dilokong’s sluggish defence, with Jurie Semono and the pacy Shine Pholoana dominating in the wings.

The half-time score was 1-0 in favour of the Masters, their goal was converted by Jurie Semono after a brilliant solo run, when he dribbled past three defenders leaving the hapless Dilokong goalie in tatters.

The full-time score was 5-3 with the Masters clinching the pulsating encounter. Their next game is against ECM at the Mangabane sports grounds on Saturday February 2.
