Barberton bowlers own the greens
Barberton's female bowlers showed their opponents how it should be done during the recent Lowveld Ladies Pairs held at Nelspruit Bowling Club.

The tournament comprised two weekends of competitive bowls among 20 teams divided into four sections from Nelspruit, White River, Barberton, Lydenburg, LVCC and Bungalows.
The format was a round robin. For each game won, the player received two points giving her total points and a shot aggregate. The teams
fought it out but only one winner out of each section could go to the next round being the semi-finals and final.
In the semi-finals Botha’s team had to face Saayman’s.
Janse van Vuuren had to face Nel’s team. In the final it was Saayman and Van der Ham of Barberton who walked away as the winners. Second
place went to Nelspruit’s Nel and Nel. Janse van Vuuren and Bam of Barberton were in third and Botha and Coulson of LVCC came fourth.
