Talented archer needs funds

Gateway Christian School pupil, Jacques du Plessis, who excelled in archery during the September All Africa Convention, has received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

However, he urgently requires sponsorship in order to make it a reality.
Of the accelerated Christian education schools from all over the African continent that took part in this convention, Gateway, represented by Jacques, attained second place in this fairly new sport.

Archery was only introduced to the school in 2012. This achievement resulted in his nomination to attend the International Student Convention which would be held at the university of Pennsylvania, Indiana, USA later this year.

This was a great honour indeed. Parents and learners are wholly responsible for all the costs involved and Jacques is in dire need of assistance from businesses and individuals to make a contribution – no matter how big or small.
“We will be extremely grateful for any contribution,” says proud father, Pieter du Plessis. Should you wish to invest in this young man’s future, contact Pieter du Plessis on 082-256-3312.
